ST. ELIZABETH THE NEW MARTYR ORTHODOX CHURCH TO HOLD FUNDRAISING BBQ

Proceeds to Benefit Church Building Fund

West Columbia, S.C. – On Saturday, June 4th, 2011 the parishioners of St. Elizabeth the New Martyr Orthodox Church in West Columbia will be holding their annual BBQ fundraiser. Pork BBQ along with two sides will be available for $7.00. The fundraiser begins at 10:00 AM and lasts until 2:00 PM.

St. Elizabeth’s recently moved into a new church building and proceeds from the fundraiser are slated for the church’s building fund.

On Monday, March 14, the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York, successfully underwent knee-replacement surgery. The operation was performed in Australia.
