Dear Brethren & Friends of St Elizabeth’s,

As I mentioned in the announcements after liturgy last Sunday, here is a trustworthy church organization collecting funds to help those innocent victims suffering in Ukraine. As a reminder, ROCOR is a worldwide church whose members consist of Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Moldovans, and converts from the lands where the church finds herself (not forgetting Georgians, Serbians, Bulgarians, and Romanians). ROCOR’s stance is for peace. We pray for this at every divine service and we offer special prayers at liturgy for peace in Ukraine to prevail. I ask all of you to pray for peace in your daily prayers and, if you are blessed with the means, to contribute to ROCOR’s Fund for Assistance linked below.
